Fees for assessment are determined and discussed prior to the start of any testing. The established fee is all-inclusive, and the cost of a typical assessment is $2500–$2700 for most psychological or psychoeducational evaluations. Court-ordered evaluations are $5000–$6000. This is because psychological assessments involve many hours of testing followed by comprehensive analysis, extensive report writing, and thorough feedback. If during the course of the evaluation it becomes clear that additional testing is warranted, no additional charge will ever be incurred.
Fees
Health insurances are not accepted in this clinic, but if your health insurance company offers out-of-network benefits, you might be reimbursed for some of the evaluation cost. We can provide you with a list of billing codes, and you may talk with your insurance provider before making an appointment for testing.
At the end of the evaluation, we can provide paperwork you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. This paperwork cannot be provided earlier in the assessment process, because it must include diagnosis codes that are determined at the end of the evaluation. Please note many insurance companies do not reimburse for comprehensive testing.
Payment of half the fee will be expected at the start of the evaluation, and the balance will be due at the conclusion of the feedback session that will follow testing and report writing. You will be given a copy of your assessment report at the end of the evaluation.
